I do plan on calling the dealership tomorrow, I’m afraid they will want me to bring it back. When I hooked power back up and turned on the fridge I could hear the compressor running. We got everything wired correctly now and everything seems to work, except this problem and not sure if it’s related either. Tech Support (TS) had me disconnect shore power, turn off the battery switch AND disconnect the battery terminal wires, both of them. Trust me, it was not plugged in for long. My dealer had told me that Cherokee previously equipped its trailers with the Furrion 12V fridge but switched to GE because of unspecified problems with the Furrion. Just to be completely honest here too, we did not know the 30 amp was supposed to be a single pole breaker til after I plugged it in for the first time. When we brought it home, we changed the outlet and breaker to 30 amp. (Note: The frost build up was visible during walk-through. And a heavy layer of frost builds up on the back wall of the refrigerator. The freezer never gets below 24 degrees and the refrigerator never gets below 48 degrees. They previous homeowners had a 50 amp camper and had the outlet installed. Owned for 9 months, used 3 times for 3 nighs each time- always on shore power. I’ve had it plugged in to a 30 amp outlet that is out in my yard. The volt meter has been about 11.3 since we got home. Something I read suggested it might have a low voltage cutoff. I’ve done some research but can’t find much.
